Cookies and tracking
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Your shopping bag is kept in your own browser’s local storage so it survives a page refresh — it stays on your device and is never sent to us until you choose to check out.
When you proceed to payment, Stripe sets cookies on its own pages to secure the transaction and prevent fraud. Those are described in Stripe’s privacy policy.
Who we share data with
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd — payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Royal Mail — the delivery address, to deliver your parcel.
- Vercel Inc. — hosting of this website.
- HMRC and other authorities — where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for marketing.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by UK adequacy regulations or by an International Data Transfer Agreement, so your data keeps equivalent protection.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant tax year, as UK tax law requires. General email correspondence is kept for two years. Checkout security logs are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have data erased where we no longer need it; to restrict or object to processing; and to receive your data in a portable form. Email us and we will respond within one month.
You will not be subject to any decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal effects for you. Stripe applies automated fraud screening to payments, and you may ask us to review any payment it declines.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
